Diet for overweight Diabetics

Diet menu for people with diabetes and overweight:
Breakfast:

  • You can choose between a cup of coffee with skimmed milk or an infusion of red or green tea

Half morning:

  • You can choose between a unit of seasonal fruit or a skimmed yogurt, accompanied by a cereal bar without sugar or whole wheat bread with baked turkey breast or fresh cheese.

Food:

  • Pasta salad (natural tomato, corn, chicken, lettuce, vegetables to taste, lettuce) you can make a dressing of yogurt sauce, olive oil, soy sauce, but not accompany with mayonnaise due to the caloric content. It can also be replaced by a Mediterranean salad. To accompany the aforementioned dishes, it can be eaten with tomatoes with oregano and fresh cheese or a plate of lentils with vegetables or spinach accompanied with chickpeas. To finish you can have an infusion or coffee with skimmed milk.

Snack:

Dinner:

  • You can choose between a vegetable panache with a boiled egg without the salad, accompanied with onion and tuna or grilled vegetables. You can add 150 grilled sole or skinless chicken breast. Add an infusion to taste.
